Living Waters with Tammy Villegas

Explore the living heartbeat of Battle Creek as we investigate the health of its waters together. Through hands-on discovery, we’ll observe the fish, insects, and other aquatic life that call the creek home, learning how pollution and other factors have impacted this ecosystem and what these species can reveal about the creek’s overall health.

Use the Battle Creek Dog Park Parking Lot: 2350 Upper Afton Rd, Maplewood, MN 55119
Event will take place at the Picnic Shelter on the hill, across the street from the parking lot.

Water quality & fish safety with Tammy Villegas
Come uncover with us the health of the waters of Battle Creek. We know that pollution and other factors have affected the health of the water, fish and other wildlife who inhabit the creek. We will examine the different aquatic species that are present in the creek and see if we can make some determinations by the insects and aquatic wildlife that we discover.
